About me

Dr Coiacetto is a Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Pathology (Anatomic Pathology). After finishing her veterinary degree at the University of Queensland in 2013, she undertook a residency in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology at Murdoch University. Flaminia became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (DACVP) in 2018. In 2024, Flaminia was successfully awarded a PhD in the field of Veterinary Medicine, entitled Ongoing Investigation into the Cause of Seasonal Hindlimb Paralysis Syndrome in Carnaby's Cockatoos (Zanda latirostris) in Western Australia. She has a clinical and research interest in avian and wildlife pathology, neuropathology, and forensic pathology.
